This year’s 54th Conference of Irish Geographers took place in Wexford Town from May 16th -19th, with the focus of the conference revolving around the concept of resilience for Ireland. Researchers within the Terrain-AI Initiative featured as the headline topic for two different sessions during the conference, displaying the wide array of topics that take place within the initiative, including the use of UAV Multispectral data to estimate crop production, the modelling of greenhouse gas emissions and movement across Ireland, and the observation and rehabilitation of Irish Peatlands aided by remote sensing techniques.
