On Thursday, September 1, An Taoiseach Micheál Martin (TD) attended the opening of the new Technology, Society and Innovation (TSI) Building on Maynooth University’s 25th anniversary as an independent Institution. In addition to addressing the crowd and the joint unveiling of the TSI opening plaque with Maynooth University President, Eeva Leinonen, the Taoiseach visited the Terrain-AI exposition booth. Terrain-AI Principal Investigators Rowan Fealy (centre) and Tim McCarthy (right) had the opportunity to outline the goals and progress that have been made on the project. Turnout was excellent, and our team members were happy to show off some of the equipment and methods used to collect the data which feeds our petabyte-scale data platform.
